I have just seen the first pics of Steve Jobs since his resignation and they have deeply saddened me. I will not post the pictures here. Go to TMZ to see them if you must. There may have been lingering hopes that Steve Jobs could remain a figurehead and innovator as chairman, and maybe even still make his trademark product announcements, but these pictures have left little doubt in my mind that the Steve Jobs era is coming to a close. I wish him the best and pray for his recovery.
